Almost all of the major trucking companies offer drivers a “no touch freight” policy – that is, the driver won’t have to worry about touching his truck’s cargo when he picks it up or drops it off. Most companies have between 75 to 85 percent no touch freight, so in some situations a driver may still be required to help loading or unloading a truck. Statement day is each Thursday. On Thursday the drivers and owner operators receive their statements on their emails and we make ACH deposits to their bank accounts or they come to the office to take a check. If there is anything wrong with the statement, drivers and owner operators can reply back to the email by Sunday, so we can correct it before we submit payments. Note: *For ACH payments it takes one business day to be deposited to driver’s bank accounts, so the funds are on the bank accounts on Tuesday morning.
